Tay Loves Christmas Too! (well, most of the time)

As a rule, as soon as the tree is up in our house, it is hers. You can try to argue with her over it or even claim it yours by force, but she will fight you every step of the way. She will literally shoot up the center of the tree to protect it, which is a bad thing because many a light and ornament have become victim to her hugeness. Poor Tree. ( Read more... )

AWWW. Tay is such a cutie, Christmas dress or not! Her possessive nature over the Christmas tree is super-adorable, too. :P

I'm not a big fan of dressing up pets, either, but I make an exception for my dog Brandy, because she LOVES it. Seriously! Although she's super-shy around other people, she's a big, ol' attention hog around me and my mom. Putting her in a dress makes her feel special, because OMG, we're paying attention to her! (Haha.)

(Hopefully this doesn't sound like we ignore her all the time. We don't! But like a said, she's a HUGE attention hog. If we spend one minute of our day not paying attention to her, she gets mopey. Crazy dog...)

Anyway, if my mom got her a Christmas dress this year (there's a good chance she did), I'll try to take a pic to share! ;)

Thanks! I feel annoying sometimes for doting on her the way I do, but I don't have kids so Tay often times gets treated like one.

That is so cute that Brandy likes to be dressed up in clothes for more attention. I think most pets are attention whores, I know Tay absolutely is (for the most part - the thing with cats is, they've got attitudes so sometimes they're not in the mood for your attention - ha!).

I so hope your Mom did get Brandy something cute for Christmas, please definitely share pics! :)

Thanks, Alice. I knew you'd appreciate the cuteness of a cat ;)

Do your cats actually take down the tree (with their attacks and all)?
