I must show off the beautiful new additions to my book collection. They weren't even supposed to arrive until Friday, but they are all here early!!! I realize this is far more than I said I was allowed to buy this month and for that I will fail that goal come the 7th of August, but maybe if I read more than I anticipated in my goals I can somehow ( Read more... )

And feel free to be nerdy. I know *I* like to stare at my books a lot, especially when the covers are as awesome as NEED's. ;)

My fiance was just laughing at me because I was out in the living room just staring at them, occasionally petting them because some have raised text or symbols on them. That Alchemyst book has frayed edges to the pages like an ancient book. You have no idea how much these little features excite me. It's ridiculous, I'm like a damn child in a toy store.

Oh wait, I get excited like that in toy stores too. Yeah, I'm an adult who still collects toys. So what? LOL.

Actually, I do have an idea how much features like that excite you, because I act the very same way. Books are just that cool! ;)
