It being a new year and all and whatnot and so forth I've decided to officially make the jump and move all of my old Livejournal posts over to Dreamwidth. I've had an account for years, and technically was crossposting from Livejournal to Dreamwidth, but I had really about given up on Livejournal, AND I never bothered to check that the crossposting ( Read more... )

I'm importing my LJ to DreamWidth right now. I wonder if we can more people to participate. I would love an alternative to FaceBook.

Unless you were physically doing a C&P from LJ to DW there was no (quasi) crosspost. It only works if you post on DW and tick the box to make it crosspost to LJ.

I'm still around, here. I am account-name-squatting the same handle, over at Dreamwidth so that I can read the occasional locked post, there. Overall, I would prefer to continue using Livejournal.

I remain on here daily. If you want to know what happened to end Steve's and my marriage, it is largely in the entries from January to July 2016. tl;dr, Steve decided he was a trans woman and took the name Sigyn. I was willing to roll with that, but then in March she decided to allow another trans woman, named Lisa, move in with us over my objections. After that, Sigyn got progressively more and more irrational and bizarre, to the point that my friend Drea (Maurine Taylor on FB) told me she was getting a two bedroom, two bath apartment in San Diego, and could I please come out and take care of her cats while she was deployed. That is what I am doing as my divorce progresses. Sigyn is suing me for alimony.
