Yeah, I moved over to facebook, and I've been neglecting my LJ. Which is a shame because FB doesn't really keep anything like a chronological journal of events that I can look through later ( Read more... )

Part of the reason I have been neglecting LJ is the danged ads. But this didn't open any ads.

I have a free account. There used to be hideous ads that took 5-10 seconds to go away. I'm still not seeing any ads in this post. I guess I should go have a look at my friends list. Nowadays that seems to be mostly kitty photos ;)

I run ad-blocker so I almost never see any ads anywhere.

Glad to see you here again. As for the job, I think that whoever said, "Money can't buy happiness" was sour-graping.

I'm told that, beyond a certain minimum level, extra money doesn't increase happiness. In North America that minimum level hovers around $100,000 a year, depending on where you live.

Clearly, most folks I know haven't hit that minimum yet.

ohhhh! Now that Linda got her inheritance I might start using you for your money and do crazy things like ask to be given green goddess both for winter AND summer solstice!!!!!
