Seriously light is Judy Blume's novels she wrote for adults. Check out "Summer Sisters."

Oh, I loved her books for young people. I'm sure I'd love her work for adults. Thanks.

As I've only recently returned to LJ, I'm not sure what happened. I wish you a healthy, happy recovery.

This entry should bring you up to speed on how I ended up where I am.

Welcome back. I've missed you.

I wish I had time to read, but I'm not going to resort to surgical recovery. =)

Sounds like everything is coming along well. I hope the rest of your recovery time is short and sweet.

I really don't recommend surgical recovery as entertainment. It would make for a lousy vacation. The extra nap time is nice, though.

Thanks for the good wishes.

I recently reread "Watership Down." It's one of those books I always feel like waving at people and saying "You've GOT to read this!" You probably already have. :-)

Fun, light hockey book: George Plimpton's "Empty Net." Actually anything by Plimpton is fun. He never fails to make me laugh.

Glad you're progressing!

Hey, a hockey book I haven't read! I'll pick up a copy. Thanks.

Have you read Zamboni Rodeo? It's a wonderful book about a year in very low-minor hockey in the south. I recommend it to everyone I know who likes hockey.

Thank you, it looks hysterical. :-) I'll have to track it down.
