I'm trying to quit bad things - less of a reliance on sugar and fast foods (work has been so frentic these last few months I'm powered, by chocolate, caffine and an over-reliance on friend chicken and pizza). LOL So of course winter is the perfect time to switch back to healthy green veg and protein. Heh.
Also well done and quitting a soul sucking job. Been there, done that and the peace of mind and sudden loss of stress from having done it is often worth fa more than the actual income. I'm sure there's something else much better for you around the next corner. I'm also on the hunt for jobs. Still have one but it's likely to disappear next summer.
I'm already stalking your Tumblr (alas while fun it's just not the same level of interaction as in the good old height of LJ days *sniffles*) though my Lj and DW is perking up a bit recently.
Gosh, I MISS YOU! And yay for BOTH OF US! I know quitting sucks, but I also know that we're both very very very strong people and we can do this. Every time I think about just having *one* ... I make myself realize that it's been 6 days and I haven't cheated - so why start now? Although, I'm totally with you - if I make it to 80? I'm absolutely buying a pack. :D We'll share, okay?
Caribou sucked. I tried my hardest, but the level of constant competition and the way I could NEVER do anything right *enough* for them ... man, it was killing me. I have a part time job that I'm starting next week and I'm interviewing with a couple other places that could be interesting.
It sucks being this poor again - but it's better than dealing with that shit.

I may not have anything else, but at least I've got good timing. :D (and a pretty icon)

Yeah, tumblr is good for some stuff (like pretty, pretty boys) but we still need our LJs ...

I heard the lastest SPN ep was terrific. I have to find a streaming link for that as soon as I'm done with work.

Good luck on quitting smoking.
