I almost passed over this, not being into Spander, but I'm glad I stopped to read.

Your description of the lonliness Spike and Angel feel, even though they are together, was heartbreaking. And, Xander's following Spike to the ends of the earth, even though he knows Spike will never leave Angel was just beautiful.
