June 2005 WHAT's IN? magazine translation

Sorry, been procastinating this. >.>;; I bought this issue of WHAT's IN? when Kinokuniya was having a discount some time ago. :D It was not Gackt on the cover but it has a small interview of him inside and I thought the content was pretty intersting, so... :D

He is the BIGGEST. DORK. EVER. XD Honestly, who memorizes the characters lines and practices them? In the toliet especially. I also find it amusing that he has to make every second of his time useful and productive in some way, even when he's in the the bathroom.

You're right, he does talk in circles. I don't know if it's the language barrier, but I still have no clue what he's talking about half the time. I understand what he's saying, but not what he means. Like that whole big story of his that supposedly unfolding...I really don't get it! ^_^

Ahahahahahaha!!! XD I don't memorise them intentionally, but I can remember the lines from movies pretty easily. Just let me watch it a couple of times~~ XD But yes, doing it in the toilet was just... XDDD Ahh, very sweet man he is, our Gackt~~ XD

Hahahah, neither do I! XD And I've already heard it from 2 native speaker! My friend said once that he likes to use funny words and his sentences are also extremely long, redundant even~ and always not straight to the point. She said he likes to be unclear and ambiguous when answering questions. XD So yes, definitely not just you. I guess that's why you feel a strong sense of achievement if you understand what he said. XD Ahh, MOON/Darts is interesting though. :D

But well, because you will be re-translating my translations, I think the risk of losing the original meaning in Japanese is much higher. So I'm going to have to ask you to do a little 'test' first. ^^ Since you want to do the May 2005 Arena translations, may I request that you do the translation for the part 2: spring (http://www.livejournal.com/users/sweiled/27700.html) first and let me have a look at it? If the re-translation is good, I'll let you use my other translations and post it on your site. How does that sound? ^^

I have been noticing for a while now that He seems to open up and smile and talk a lot more in interviews than He used to. I'm glad, it's good to know more about Him ^^

I absolutely agree. He's got such a beautiful and catching smile, I wonder why he's hidden that for so long.
I know this sounds funny, but I'm still surprised whenever he laughs, I'm just not used to it! O_o;

Kimochi wakaru. ^^ Yep, things he would tell us himself~~ You can really learn a lot from all that, his characteristics... He is not someone obvious, someone who would go on and on about himself, but it's really quite easy to pick out his characteristic from the way he does things/his thoughts/behaviour, etc. ^^ Gackt is quite an easy man to understand. Though his work is another thing altogether fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it. :D
