Can I just state, in opening, how uncomfortable I am with LJ. I dunno, I've never really gotten the hang of it, and tend to steer clear unless there's something cool happening in the mixers, and even then people usually have to beg me

"What this episode has done is take pandering to ships to a whole new level." This is my central problem with the episode and the half of season 3.

This episode was TOO S/E focused. They write it as if they never had a relationship previous to this.

Damon saying "what if were just between me or Stefan?" was the extra nail on the coffin. If they had left that out, then we would have argued that Elena returned to Mystic Falls for EVERYONE like she had explained to him. But no. She returned to MF for Stefan.

I think TVD has hit its lowest point when it comes to fanservicing.

There is nothing in there that I don't completely agree with. Nothing. I also agree with not picking the show apart, it ruins too much for me, whether it be continuity, history etc. It would be such a downer
