Ok, first of all ::HUGE HUGS::. Thank you so much! What an awesome present!

As to the fic itself - I'm completely and utterly in love with this Clint. His voice is just perfect. But what really got me was the imagery and the world-building here - there are so many lovely things and language and I adore the touches like how the cuffs and the tattoo work. I was wondering if she'd do what she did - and I can't wait to hear the story of it, I've been curious since the last installment when he watched her through the window. ::bounces excitedly::

I'm going to have to read through it again, probably all three parts and then I'll probably have more concrete thoughts, but it was just excellent! Love!

I meant it when I said support was incoming! *hugs*

To hear you say that about this Clint makes me insanely happy, because I remember talking about how Natasha/Clint is hard to write for you/me. He has made me work, and this makes it totally worth it. And the same for the world-building; I keep feeling like I'm not sneaking enough hints/info into the writing, but that's probably because I know all of the 'verse rules and anything less seems inadequate.

If the majority of this story plays out from his POV (which right now it seems like it might), we'll see how fast I can get the next chapter out to keep telling the story. But I shall prevail plead with him not to make it 2+ weeks next time!

\o/ Thank you so much!

::nods vehemently:: THIS. I'm having the very same problems, except - well, I'm actually having more trouble with Natasha. But the world-building thing, too. It's making me *crazy*. My Clint is doing ok right now, but that's mostly because he's just bumping along, bewildered as fuck and kind of hasn't completely seen the turn his life has just taken, I think. Maybe.

Your world looks/feels consistent and clear to me, at least. I'm not struggling to follow how things are supposed to work or anything. And Nat and the little girl are intriguing the hell out of me... I've kind of got this impression in my head now that somehow Vamp! ( ... )

I get the impression that this is pretty much what most fic!Clints are doing, one way or another (including mine, to a certain extent). Certainly when he meets Natasha for the first time! xD Would talking about it help with the world-building?

*weeps* I HAVE FINALLY DONE MY JOB RIGHT. Happiest moment of my life well, okay, week. Maybe month. Seriously, if you're thinking all of these things, I'm ecstatic and my struggles have not been in vain.

Glad to know todays overly obsessive refreshing of the com had a payoff.

Hmmmm. So who would want to kill both of them? It's not like Talia has any family that could start a war with the Slayers over this. Maybe a Big Bad who wants to take her out (as she could threaten him/ her and his/ her evil plans) and distract the Slayers from his/ her ultimate purpose? Ad a fire elemental, interesting choice. *puts thinking cap on*

And can I just say how much I love that the fandom has decided that Clint is a Strong Female Character while still making him masculine as hell?

Glad to know that this is a good reward! :)

*cackles evilly* (I need an "Evil Laughter" icon or something of that sort, methinks...) Keep thinking - I don't want to give any spoilers away, but I'm happy you're asking questions and not taking anything for granted! That's a very good thing to do with this story.

Yes, yes he is. Please tell me you've seen that Tumblr post discussing this fact. xD

I also need an evil laughter icon.

Ooh, maybe there is a mole in the Slayer organization that wants to take Barton out and make it look like "Talia."Because there are probably human magic users within the organization. *keeps thinking* And this is why I should never read WIPs. :P

Tumblr is like the Tesseract- it has shown me everything. And it's damn difficult to break free from.

Maybe we can lure someone into making one for us... *plots silently*

:D I shan't apologize!

Yes. I try to keep myself from refreshing it more than once every half hour, but that's almost impossible. Too many shiny things...

I'm glad you liked it! :) Hopefully I'll be able to get started on the next part soon; juggling two jobs and family issues is not conducive to writing or sanity, but thems the apples.

Neither can I! ;) And thank you very much; it's fantastic to hear that. Have I mentioned how nervous big stories/WIPs make me? Because do they ever. So truly, thanks!

Finally reading! :D This is fascinating. Seriously, I could sink into worldbuilding like this and live there all day. I love the concept, and the set up that someone else is trying to kill them, not just them against each other, and Natasha as an inconceivable vampire. Bwahaha, of course she is! You didn't think this was going to be easy, did you, Clint?

Very, very interesting and I'm looking forward not only to seeing where it goes, but all the gorgeous worldbuilding along the way <3
