I love throwing out prompts and seeing what people run with. I can't look after a bouquet of flowers in water, never mind do gardening or farming *grins* but I was really curious as to what the hell Clint, Laura, and Natasha would do with a farm of all things. Apparently the answer is grow together as a family.

What you've done with this is brilliant and gorgeous, and I love this Laura and her voice and her sense of humour. I love the theme of coming back, of that being the important thing, and of new beginnings, of babies and pets and green growing things. I love Laura and Natasha getting together and Clint catching up, and the sparring, and just everything. SQUEE!

I'm so glad you liked this Laura! I figured that if you a) were married to Clint Barton and b) were a 'military' wife on a farm, you'd need a great sense of humor to make it enjoyable. ;)

For me, gardening is all about growing and tending, which worked incredibly well with the themes that came out in the story. I thought, "Well, Natasha would only get invested in growing anything, farm or not, if she meant to come back..." and the rest, as they say, is history. <3 Thank you for that prompt!

It's a great theme and I do love that idea of putting down roots, of planting something to come back to, and that it's as much for Natasha as it is for Clint and Laura, to show them that she's staying. Lovely!
