So, confession time. I have used the peel twice, several weeks apart as recommended. I did not do a patch test (shh) since I don't have sensitive skin and wasn't too worried. I have worn makeup both times afterwards! gasp!

The first round, I was a bit timid having never done any type of peel before. I saw some flaking, but no major change. The second time, I was more generous and saw 2-3 days of fierce molting action. For a few days my skin was pretty decent, and now I am breaking out again (which could be attributed to the fact that I slapped my foundation right back on, my cycle, my lack of sleep/healthy diet/normal hours lately...). And the TCA peel does say most people need 2-3 peels before they see significant results.

P.S. I am thinking of starting a skincare blog for product reviews and whatnot. It would be a slightly selfish endeavor because maybe I could get free samples out of it. Anyway, if I do it, would you be interested in co-contributing?

If you think I have anything constructive to add, sure! I'm sort of skincare FAIL on a lot of levels. I finally went to a dermatologist last week and (once my insurance figures out what it's doing) got some prescription stuff. We shall see....
