So my cousins are pretty much fighiting over me (ages 8 and 13) I get a long really well with frank and he can speak english, Claudia on the other hand doesnt and is all pouty and resentful that she cant be in on it. Truth is she´s really hyper and IRRITATING so it´s not like she´s gonna be the first choice but feels that she should be. Tough nuts

Wouldn´t put it past people - but I´ve only seen what appears to be TWO porzzies on one street corner once briefly. I havent been to the city center at night at all because it is too dangerous.

THere are a lot of Catholic Evangelicas here so I wouldn´t be supprized if peopel are as repressed as all hell.

Tourists come here for two things - surfers who want to add some more diversity to their beach exploits and hotel-dwellers. $70 usd a day which is ALL INCLUSIVE food, drinks, spa massages ect and live shows without having to ever leave the resort and see any part of the actual country.

As I understand it, it´s not a safe place for folks who obviously look like tourists. I have not seen ANY white tourists here at all even at tourist spots like the beach, only once though at La Bocaron which is a gargatuan volcano crater.

I´m actually staying the night at one of these resorts tomorrow, going to get wasted - Apparently a shittone of Canadians love these types of resots. Old people mostly. It´s an illusion of saftey

WHY INDEED???

Lots of Corn flour - average meal includes rice, sometimes black kidney beans (mashed and refried, whole or in a soup of some kind. Sometimes mixed with rice), meat is a main dish for most meals.

And my favourite drink ever Horchata (pron: WHORE CHA TAH)

There are vegitarian options and veg resturants in a lot of places and you can eat gluten free quite easily because a lot of the main dishes are made with corn flour. You have to be VERY explicit with food and if your fussy about cross contamination for the sake of alergies prepare to have an epi pen with you at all times because you will die and be yelled at and told to harden the fuck up.

I´m not 100% on the music thing though, latin pop music, western rock and oldies.

There are a lot - and some people just seem homeless but they do live in Champas - or shanty houses - elking out a living in the cities selling gum or coconut juice or window washing.
