Many things have brought me back to this glowing screen. Again.I have been away from here for years, was travelling, did some soul-searching, learnt a lot. Life caught up with me, or rather; I caught up with life. Boo! Isn't that what I'm expected to say? I am out reading my old journal posts as an exercise in vanity if nothing else. I came across your recent reply and do you know, I wanted to touch your hair if indeed that is you in the icon. Then I wondered at your user name, and if perhaps that is what your neck might taste like if I bent to kiss it. See, my innocent browsing, your innocent comments, what things culminate even without intention. I thought I would stop and say hello.

Who knows what to expect of one such as yourself? I say this with a smile. I must say, something I wasn't expecting was such a lovely reply. Your words made me blush scarlet. Especially since that is indeed me in the icon, yes.

Susan! Hey! It has been such a long time since we last spoke.

Passing over the subtle sarcastic undertone of your question; I did enjoy my Croatian vacation, yes, but that was years ago. I have since travelled to many other wonderful countries.

Aww. I hope that all is just as well with you as it is with me.

Did you sense a subtle undertone? How odd. I didn't intend to go imply what I did not state honestly. Merely a reference of when we last spoke so very long ago. I am glad to hear you have had some time to travel.

How very fortunate!

I do not have YIM downloaded to any of the computers I tend to use. I actually have not had much time to chat the way I did when I had infants in the house. But when I do get YIM, I will let you know.
