Hello flist! I need your help! One of my groups at school is working on a presentation for our innovation project, and we need a song to go with it. We need something inspirational -- maybe something that starts kind of slower and quieter, but builds up into something powerful and compelling. Any suggestions?

Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" is appropriate for all occasions.

Does it have to be a contemoray song? What about the music from LOTR The Two Towers when Gandalf & the the exhiled Roharim riders turn up at Helms Deep & save the world?

I'm with Wendy. Gandalf showing back up is very inspirational. Or use some cello. Or Wagner when the Gods are entering Valhalla. It's not really a crescendo, though, since it starts out all awesome and loud, but you might could use pieces.

Oh! Or! Wagner's Imperial March.
