hmmm...hard to say for me since I shop for my BF/former roomie throughout the year. But less than $200 on the hubby (way less), $50 for the adult whose name we pick in his family, then the neices and nephews and my other friend...um...TOO DAMN MUCH!

I have no idea what we spend (and I don't want to add it up)...but we buy for 2 sets of parents, 2 siblings, 2 sibling SO's, 1 Grandma, 1 Grandma/Grandpa...plus smaller gifts (usually of the food or liquor variety) for close friends...and then, each other.

I'd say we spend about $100/person (at least.) Tim's family tends to go overboard, so we spend more for them. I'm hoping to keep spending a bit more under control this year and keep it right at $100/person. We usually stay at about that for my family, but Tim's has been about $200-$300 each the past few years.

The good news is, I get my bonus at the beginning of December...but really, I we have projects around the house and a (yet to be conceived) baby to save for!

Oh, and I didn't inlclude that we usually buy gifts for adopt a family and the tree at the mall...I'd say total on that is ~$100 as well. That I do not want to cut back on. In fact, I'd really like it if Tim and I didn't buy presents for each other and just did that instead.
