He places her gently in her bed, without having to ask for directions to the correct room. Before Alicia can call out and ask where he's going, Will returns with a deliciously cool towel that he wraps around the base of her neck ( ... )

Fantastic! This fandom spurs so much excellent writing. Really.

I'm not even in it for the Will/Alicia, but if the show gave me a scene like this, I'd be on board. My goodness, yes.

Oh GOSH. The things you just did to my heart. THANK YOU.

The fact that he KNOWS her, and the only reason why she'd take off, and that he's there with all that stuff and his comfort and she tries to be strong but she falls and he catches her and asljsjfksld. And then when I don't think it can get any better THEY KISS. Sorry for the recap. I'm just... gah.

Less of a recap: You are a beautiful descriptive writer. And you know these characters. And this fic is so much love. TY for that. :-*

Ooooh, excellent. I love the callbacks to Georgetown, love that he knows her.

I love that Will knows her so well from their Georgetown days and translates it to modern-day-chivalry, with his usual almost apologetic aplomb.

I think fic!will is slightly...sweeter? than tv!will, but hey, that's what fic is for too! Great job!

EEEEEE *Flails about*

I also think fic where one of the main characters fall sick lend well to intimacy between ships and you delivered on it here. From the mere fact that he showed up because he knew how badly she was feeling to the ease he feels with her, relaxing on her bed working on files (mmm, thanks for that image, btw). And, oc, the kiss! :D

Opening the crumpled bag, she discovers a ridiculous amount of migraine products - the obvious pills, as well as soothing gels and some kind of eye mask. The gesture alone makes tears well up without warning, but she manages to blink them back.
Haaah, I just love the idea of her looking in the bag and discovering this jumble, like he just swept every remedy off the shelf.

"Okay, I am putting you to bed. Clearly, you pose a danger to yourself and society."
LMAO! I can so clearly hear him saying this. Wonderful.

Thanks so much for this! :D

I can't believe I've been refreshing this page for two days and almost missed this entirely! All nine shades of awesome, how he KNOWS her from the waybacks and boosted stuff from the drugstore and the scattered refuse of her life and that kiss in the sanctuary of her bedroom...yeah, man. VERY NICELY DONE.

This is lovely and totally what Alicia deserves: someone to take care of her, when she's taking care of everyone else.

Also, her calling him "counselor." ♥
