Since in this fic Kalicia have clearly moved in together somewhere with a staircase, I'm going to assume they bought a house together because they needed more space because BABIES!

LOL I was thinking more they moved because Kalinda got fed up of falling over all the clutter Alicia's kids left behind everywhere... plus now they get to adopt kids for themselves (and knowing them they probably took Diane in too, cause she's lonely dammit!)

Kalinda is still totally Alicia's space for comfort, she's just a stubborn pain-in-the-ass in canon.
