Being a mother IS a great thing. It's terribly difficult and intensely rewarding. I am basically half raising our cousin Skylar (it's weird, but yes, she is your cousin too) and the amount of pain and joy she brings to me is unlike everything I've ever felt and you've got the REAL DEAL. But feel free to vent or squeal to me whenever, really. Really, really. If it wouldn't be awkward to you.
