yeah, i really haven't heard any of the bush bashing crap in person since i left EL, but it's only i'm at a christian school and pretty much everyone in in favor of bush here... and those few people that aren't don't say anything because they'll be stomped to the ground within a matter of seconds. i've heard quite a bit of trash talk on tv lately though, and i know what you mean. it's retarded.

Well, yea Its not Bush's fault for the hurricane but its the governments fault for moving 600 of their victims to Grand Rapids shelters.... Personaly I think Michigan is over crowded and doesnt need the burden of 600 people with nothing. I can barely survive with my job and Michigan is just going to shit as a state so we shouldnt even invite these poor people into a state that cant even fend for itself

Grand Rapids invited those people on there own free will no one forced them to invite the people to the shelter. Its the individual mayors choice on if they take in people so go complain to Grand Rapids mayor about that one.

first off.... i wasnt bashing bush or anything the economy and the people in america have been going to shit for years bush just pushed it further into an early depression... and jen dont talk to me like im a child its bullshit 700 people need to come to a POVERTY state if you actually did some reading you would see that YES these people have nothing but the people in our state with nothing trying to get a job will be out done by these out of staters... im not upset that Bush finally came to realize that he should help people inside America.. im upset because they were sent to a state probably worse off then what they were in to begin with

First off I'm not in High School secondly you need to be talked to like a child because you are to selfish to realize that even if our state is poor as any other state is we help each other out. Obviously you don't understand that concept. "Do onto others what you want done onto you" Think about it because I'm sure if this was you in New Orleans and didn't have a place to go you'd be ready and raring to go to get the hell out and wouldn't care where you were going. I doubt you'd look at the states poverty levels or unemployment before picking a state that was offering you a place to stay.

That would be fine n dandy except that huricane experts KNEW it was going to be a Category 4 or 5... they can measure that stuff now. And Bush sat on his ass on his ranch in Texas while it happened. On vacation.

Not to mention that he appointed a guy as head of FEMA whose most outstanding qualification was as an Arabian horse judge.
