Agreed. That's my issue with Lumione as well, and with Death Eaters. It's also something I try to take into account as a writer of Dramione, although at least with Draco, he was a young person repeating the crap he heard at home and could feasibly learn differently before adulthood.

I'm with you on Draco/Ron especially. I have read some cool stuff, to the point where I wonder why I don't ship them more, but there is something that just doesn't quite work there with Ron. Maybe it's also simply that theirs isn't the main rivalry?

I suppose that could have something to do with it, but for me I just Ron as being very black or white about things and not changing his mind easily. Maybe it's the red hair. LOL
