Oh wow. You never see Emmett vids around fandom, or at least around LJ. And you've definitely set the bar -- this was a really great vid, I loved the scene selection and the choice of song.

Man, I love this vid SO MUCH, it's not even funny. Really, every part of it is just so perfectly Emmett.

I can't even get specific in my gushing feedback because it's all so great I'd be quoting every verse back to you, but I will say that the two 'let it all go' patches of vid wherein Ted kicking Em out was juxtaposed with Em finally 'letting go' with Brian at Babylon and then Em's fantasy of Drew finally publicly acknowledging their relationship contrasted against the reality of the situation with Em finally leaving Drew behind were *perfect.* Seriously, I really appreciated the thought behind both patches and how they kind of functioned as a link, a pattern within the vid, if that makes any sense whatsoever.

At any rate, you must vid again. And soon. :D

It does make sense, and I was hoping that's how they would work out. And I'm also completely amused, because I actually thought at the time that you would be the one (and possibly the only one) to pick up on the juxtaposition. So I'm really glad it worked for you. ;D

I just finished collecting all the source I'll need for a new Brian vid off the hub and am hoping to get started on it this weekend. And there's a Justin vid as well as a *gasp* Michael one in the offing; I never thought I'd live to see the day when I'd actually consider vidding from Mikey's POV, but here I am. What's sad is that I already know there'll be *no* audience for the type of M vid I have in mind 'cause half my flist hates Michael and the other half (which are B/M BFF shippers) will undoubtedly be offended by the vid's take on the Brian/Michael friendship. So who knows, maybe I'll end up scrapping the idea yet.

I remember the first time I watched this vid, I was momentarily thrown off by the juxtaposition of the bouncy music against such horrifying clips of the breakdown of the Emmett/Ted relationship. But then I realized that it's not about this breakup or about his later breakup with Drew, but about Emmett learning how to find himself again ( ... )
