I managed to outmaneuver the countless hordes of Grey's Anatomy fans in my dorm and commandeered a television set for the purpose of watching Supernatural tonight. Worth it. ( very spoilery reactions for 'hunted' )
Welcome back! For as long as that lasts, anyway. :)
I think the connection between the no-fire childhoods is just coincidence. I mean, the fact that Sam's and Andy's and Max's moms died is, when you think about it, just bad luck: their moms happened to walk into their nurseries when the demon was there. But that probably didn't happen to ALL the kids' moms, right? It seems to me that there are probably a lot more kids whose moms *didn't* tragically die, than kids whose moms did.
He's so well-adjusted about the whole thing that I expect him to start passing out pamphlets: "Vote Samuel Winchester Not Evil in 2007."Ha! Good point. He really was pretty level-headed about it, beyond the inital freak-out at Dean
