I am so thrilled, and it feels like we we have turned some kind of imporrtant corner and we have the opportunity for a "new day".

But, I was relieved to hear your sensitive words to those who may not have voted for him. It is hard for them (and I know that first hand from others in my life), and he will be their president, too. I was moved when he said that he will work to build their trust. In turn, if they could just open up and give him that chance. Just try

The gloating and divisions that have been created during this election process (and in the Bush administration) have to end and we need to become one UNITED States again.

The road to recovery for this nation will not happen over night, either. Obama is not a miracle worker.

We so need to heal, and i have faith that Obama is the man to lead us through that process. But, he can't do it alone.

Thank you for your post - - and it IS so good to see you :)
