I actually think that you can recognize luke quite well (maybe only if you are a fan of gimore girls) because the mind only needs little pieces to imagine/add the rest of the picture :D

but tastes are different and you don't have to like the icon :)

I like the icon before you added the text. The coloring is very nice. I think the text effect would be better in smaller areas, though, instead of obscuring the entire image. But still, nice coloring.

yeah, well I actually thought that the icon was a little bit boring without some "special" effect :D

it's an interesting technique, but i'm not sure it works with this image. i love the coloring though - simple, but still pretty.

yeah I think you could be right..
it may be better with a bigger cropping.. aor a fotoshooting picture where you only see the face or something like that^^
