Great chapter! I love how Mark was Mark--all cocky and inappropriate--and then all of a sudden he was different!Mark. And Izzie could bring it out in him.

And call me crazy, but in my mind, I can imagine Mark bringing that fleece to his face as she walked away and not being able to help but smile at that "delectable" scent of her. :)

Thanks so much!
Your mental image totally went through my mind as well. I really wanted to write that in, but since this was in Izzie's POV I didn't get to do it. I've had a couple of fun ideas run through my head for chapter 3, so stay tuned!

first of all: i love you. i swear. i've been looking for mark/izzie fiction, and i barely find any. i read the first chapter, and i'm sorry that i didn't review, but you've got yourself another worshipper.

i loved this chapter. when bailey was assigning the interns their residents, i thought izzie would be stuck with mark. nice twist there; it wasn't predictable, which i love. unpredictability rules.

mark's cockiness seems like an armour that he wears, and izzie managed to destroy his cocky-armour to a single blush. i get the impression mark's never been thanked for something for a while - or in his life. but i loved their moment. XD

i love how you write them, and i can not wait for more! :)

Thank you so much for your insightful review! I know it's hard to find Mark/Izzie fiction out there...I'm always thrilled when I find some. These two characters just demand to be written. In my opinion, the fact that they are both so different makes them so dynamic and I am absolutely pulled towards them. I am intrigued by a couple that doesn't even really exist (yet!) These two have so much potential it ain't funny!

About Bailey and the assignments, I actually debated with myself (and the characters) if Izzie should be assigned to Sloane or not. Mark actually said to me "Are you kidding? It would be awkward as hell. We wouldn't talk to each other." So I listened to the good doctor, and didn't write it (and I also love being unpredictable!)

And Mark-- he is my absolute favorite character on the show b/c there are so many damn layers to him. It's like everytime I think I've figured him out, he turns around and shocks the hell out of me.

Thanks for the review! I hope I don't disappoint you with the next chapter!
