i finally got my ravelry invite, and i find it more exciting than myspace and livejournal.
i invite vacillated with her mad crocheting skills to join the site (if she hasn't already).

birthday and holidays
well, my birthday this year was uneventful, but nice. Jeremy and I went out to an Italian restaurant, which was so nice. I was glad to spend time with him. Us both working in retail has been hard this year, being that we never saw each other. i'm thinking.
we are going to get married someday. i know what love feels like. we've gone through a lot and it only made us better. this is 3:30AM rambling at you right now. i'm about to put the flannel pjs on and find my spot in bed next to him.

being productive?
i finally figured out how to crochet granny squares. i've made six so far. i will have to take photos later because my camera batteries need recharging.
i want to make an afghan like how my grandmother used to make them.
so thats how i spent my day off. -

man cran tarts. thats all i have to say about that.. yum. the scent reminds me of halloween candy for some reason.

wants
yesterday i stepped into a lys called dotty's yarn. it was woody and "old" and behind the counter covered in little neon sale signs sat an old woman knitting. i spent 20 minutes talking to this woman, and she was nice enough to recommend a lovely yarn to knit my new calorimetry. it's a lovely shade of green. right now i'm working on nicole's ( Read more... )
