So long and thanks for all the fish

I've spent my day so far geeking out over movies. Watched Dungeons and Dragons and now am watching Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. I could spend all day in bed with Zooey. And Arthur Dent running around in a bathrobe, or somone who dressed as such, would get my attention surely.

I thought the whale plummeting toward the planet was one of the most humorous and sad things I'd read. Sadly the movie hardly lived up to the awesomeness of the book.

Which D&D movie did you watch?

It's been so long since I've read the books, I really should read them again. Off to the library! Oh who am I kidding? Me in a library? Hah.

And which D&D movie did I watch? There's more than one? Umm... It's the one with *grabs the dvd case* Jeremy Irons, Marlon Wayans and Thora Birch. Obtaining the red sceptre that controls the red dragons.

I've always been terrible with reading while growing up. I was always more inclined to play video games than do anything else. But lately the books have been much more appealing. If you want a good fantasy series, A Song of Ice and Fire has been fantastic. It's like NC-17 rated Tolkien. =)

Oh yeah. That one was painful. Mostly because I've been playing D&D for about 10 years and it bastardized my game.
