Blockbuster is a commercial whore. All they have is box-office hitters (which sometimes can be great movies) and craptastic teen comedies. Practically no room for indie and older movies ( Read more... )

A movie place for indie films! That almost sounds too good to be true! Thanks so much for telling me. I'll check to see if Hamilton has those stores. Though, my town is sort of a ditch so it's probably a good idea to not get hopes too high, but I'll look.

That little studmuffin is Tsukamoto Takashi, he played one of the hardcore geeks in BR xD

I know! Last Xmas I was looking for 大红灯笼高高挂 and no places in hamilton had it; had to ask library to order it and wait like three months T^T I don't watch as many movies as you, but those films sound super interesting! Where do you hear of all the good stuff?

I've heard of all kinds of good things about 大红灯笼高高挂, want to rent it sometime too now ;D

Twitch is a kick-ass site when it comes to picking movies.

have you tried getting the movies from amazon.ca? 'Cause when I do a quick search for a few of them, I can find them~ (plus the ones I searched for are less than $15 each, and if you buy more than $39 worth of products, it's free shipping)

That sounds like a great deal. I'll definitely do it, when I can get a bank card that works outside of Canada.
The frustration was more due to my urgent need to get the movies now and watchitNOW xD.
