Well, I didn't hate season two, but it is not among my favorite seasons. I mean, a ton of awesome occurs in season two, but there were a few things I had issue with. For one, I couldn't stand Ana Lucia (or any of the tallies really, other than Bernard) and that whole subplot (the tail section survivors) while interesting in concept, at the end of the day, didn't really interest me. I am also not the biggest Desmond fan (though he has grown on me over the seasons). Also, Michael circa season two was seven shades of annoying as his character development completely stalled (yes yes, we know you want your son back, enough already.), and overall the plot seemed to be at a bit of standstill for much of the season. But I think that the reason is less that I dislike season two, and much more that I loved season three, which came right after it, and my opinion came from comparing the two. :)
