The Phantom of the Opera Revisited - 45 icons.

(Notes: I read Susan Kay's Phantom recently and it kind of sparked a re-interest in this story for me. This set is relatively Christine/Erik-centric and includes several black and white variations, and even a few attempts at, gasp, text. You've done text before and it really worked well but this seems different - it seems to be, somehow, that these were the more practiced than the ones you've done before.

They're very well done.

Thank you, M’dear. I am trying to make my text more polished, and I am glad that it may be getting there. :D

You're very welcome because the text is really good; I prefer it to how text is usually on icons.

I'd say you were there. Comments from the peanut gallery behind me are that the text on the above icons is actually subtler than text he's seen on other icons. 'I like' is the short version he offered first. =D

It is now necessary that I turn this movie on within the next half hour. Or I will burst. These are stunning and I haven't seen this film in ages. I think I'll take 27 and maybe a few others. Also, this novel sounds intriguing and I'm going to go on the hunt for it.

I definitely recommend it-not high literature, to be sure, but such a fun read, especially if you have an interest in PotO. It was out of print for several years, but I think they reissued it a few years back. I got it from the library. :D
