Probably statin' the obvious here, but the storm's got to have something to do with the disappearances, whether it's being used as a cover, or if we've got some Wizard of Oz shit going on.

It's one of my first suspicions. Hosting a party in an abandoned warehouse is a little ill-willed, and they should have been able to predict the storm.

My name is Sephiroth. I'm also on the Defense Force. If you need my help with anything, just ask. Two of my own friends are among the missing. Genesis Rhapsodos and Zack Fair.

Both of them were at the party with me earlier, neither one seems to have made it back to the city. I am incapable of contacting either one when I attempt to do so.

Unfortunately not yet, beyond possibility that the island may not be as deserted as we previously thought.

I do recall people reporting there to be a barrier on one half of the forest. It's the only inaccessible part of the island I can think of.
