She told me that Sue Dodson, wife of John Dodson who is the former pastor at the Los Altos United Methodist Church, died instantly in a car crash yesterday on highway 1. I didn’t know Sue very well, but I knew the intricate role she played in her husband’s life

I cannot even imagine what poor John must be going through. The pain would be too much to measure. Just too much to comprehend.

I hate it when crappy things happen. I hate it. Especially when they happen to good people. My sincere sympathies and thanks for such a humbling and thoughtful post. I'll be hugging Ellis when he walks through the door. I won't tell him why; I'll just do it for me.
