I hate it when you get something for your birthday from a relative and you don't like it/are allergic to it but you have to call them up and say, "Thank you for the gift that I'll never use, but really, it's the thought that counts. Have a nice day :D ( Read more... )

do a lot of people have that problem with earrings, in where it has to be real gold/silver for it not to kill your ear? because my sister has that same problem and it's always been a nuisance for her. is it common?

i can only wear gold/white gold earrings (i'm allergic to silver too). i'm pretty sure it's common. my sister and two cousins have the same problem. it's annoying, to say the least. although i can wear fake jewelry for a few hours before my ears become all irritated and bloody and gross.
