oh dear, i'm so so sorry you had to go through this... don't really know what to say except i understand and have been through this as well... please don't feel guilty, you did everything you could. i'm here for you if you ever need to talk or anything. keeping you both in my thoughts *HUGS*

Thank you so much, Mina. That really means a lot to me. I just feel so torn about about not listening to her. I KNEW she was letting me know she was dying and in pain but I let emotions and my mom's hopefulness overrule. I made her suffer because I was selfish.

Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. :( I've been away all weekend and this is the first I've heard of this. I'm sorry Kitty didn't pull through and defy death again, but at least now she is no longer in any pain. I'm glad that at least you got to be with her in her last moments, and that her son Vince got to give her a kiss before she passed. It sounds like however distraught you all were (understandably) she was surrounded by love when she transitioned, and I'm sure she knows that. R.I.P Kitty. ♥

Vince seems to be doing well now so I'm happy. He knows she's pain free now.

Aw, I'm glad Vince is doing well...back when our little Bearman died, his brother (littermate) Strider took it pretty hard, but he's a happy, kitten-like 7-year-old cat again, which is awesome.

Aww :( I'm glad he went back to normal, though! ♥ It's heartbreaking when they don't.

I used to have two dogs. Lightning was the older one and Hootie used to look up to her. When Lightning died, Hootie was never the same. She was always moping around. Then she ran away and we never found her. :-|

Sweetheart, I am so very sorry. I know how it feels to lose a pet (thought the pet is actually my Moms). But it breaks your heart. Again, I am so sorry *hugs*
