The 7 line, being elevated, is one of the few trains from Queens to Manhattan that was still running, and because it started taking on all the traffic from the other major arteries, it was experiencing massive delays. The subway is totally screwed up. Manhattan bound 7 service was suspended for half an hour on the way in today. On the way to my job, the 6 switched to the local track, which meant I had to backtrack in the rain.

At least there will be Rosebuds and standoffs this eve!

I bought a BlueTooth adapter for my phone. It's really nice, but I've only had minimal opportunities to use it thus far. I very rarely talk on it for any length of time without the headphone, but they were always getting themselves tangled and crapping out at the worst possible times. On the way home today, all of the 7 express trains were rerouted to the local track because of an incident. Once the express track was restored, express trains started running on it.
