I really haven't been online much of late as I've been concentrating on other things, including preparing for The Early Mixes shoot coming up. I've also been devouring commentary tracks as well... hey, one of the most important lessons I ever learned about guerrilla filmmaking came from Spike Lee on the She's Gotta Have It Criterion laserdisc ( Read more... )

Indeed, your comments do tend towards the awesomecakes with awesomesauce and awesomefilling. I think about half of your comments were made in the notorious "Rambling Rumbling" thread!

I will sometimes use my Blue Tooth headset at home when I need my hands free, but mostly I have it for times when I'm driving and can't spare the hands. Unfortunately, it's not very clear or loud when I'm in the car, so I have to shout, which I detest. People who shout into cellphones piss me off.

Yes, I particularly like how people shout when they have a tenuous signal, thus increasing the bandwidth required and causing themselves to break up further. And, of course, such people are per force shouting into the recipient's ear.

The BlueTooth I have is called the Jawbone and it is specifically designed for noisy environments. It works fairly well, too, if it is a bit expensive.
