are these just passed out as jokes or is there something else I'm missing? I've played Risk many times but never Ultimate Risk.

The Ultimate Risk Set is nothing more than three ordinary Risk sets put together. This allows for each color's infantry (1), cavalry (5) and artillery (10) pieces to all have their own containers, making larger and longer games possible. My friends and I first put together the set in '96 or '97, long before the terms "Ultimate" and "Extreme" became ubiquitous in advertising lingo. These pictures are just little cartoons that my friends and I issue to one another while playing the game as a commentary, nothing more.
