Oh, I was grinning and loving the banter and the fun, and then you went and broke me with Mikey and Jake. I wondered what Santa had promised to Dean that made him so anti-Santa, and then of course you made it clear.

Beautifully done, with a lovely Sam POV that pulled at my heart in just the right way, and had me blinking back tears. Lovely Christmas story.

Thanks so much for joining in the challenge and writing this. This was lovely! With Sam teasing Dean, and Dean flirting with the elf (of course).And of COURSE Dean would be good at the job! I guessed it would be something like that that had put him off Santa - and awww, poor Dean! He's really good with kids!

And the kid being scared of giant Sam made me laugh out loud!!!!!!! Really lovely, thanks so much for writing.

What a lovely, lovely story! It makes such perfect sense -- of COURSE that was Dean's only Christmas wish, and that bumbling Santa-jerk didn't treat him seriously, just ho-ho-ho'ed his way through, and poor DEAN. And Sam gallantly playing catch-up, realizing such a sensitive thing about his brother.
