I loved this so much. I can see Sam reacting like that. Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Thanks very much. I just needed some explanation for Sam's seeming lack of concern in the ep. As for what's next - I'm slaving over a fic that seems to have taken on a life of it's own. Let's hope I don't feel the need to write any missing scenes before it's done!

Oh, that filled in *very* nicely! That ep didn't quite work for me, either, and what you wrote here helped to flesh out what the heck Sam might've been thinking...'Cause he sure didn't feel or act like the Sam we know and love!

But Sam trying to project confidence and keep Dean from freaking out - *that* makes sense. And Dean still having enough hunter's instincts to make Sam leave him behind. Watching Nickelodeon. Hee!

Good job!

I'm glad you thought my take made sense because that's just how I felt - Sam wasn't feeling or acting like the Sam we know and love. Thanks so much for reviewing.

Oh, I really liked this. I would have been so happy if this had been in the show. This is how I wanted Sam to act, when his brother was having so much trouble, holding his own fear in, a solid and comforting presence.

Also cool that Sam hears about Dean's true fears--the hellhounds, going back to hell. Didn't get that in the show, either.

Glad to hear you had similar issues with the ep and that this worked for you. Thanks for taking time to comment.

Yes! This would have made this episode so much more bearable. A great scene. Thank you!

A seemingly unconcerned Sam was so hard to watch, was it not? I get that a freaked-out-that-Dean-was-gonna-die-again Sam might not have been the point of that episode, but still, if they're going to do a humorous episode, they need to keep things in line with the characters.

All I could believe was that there were things taking place off camera, like your tag here, to keep my faith in the writer's alive. That ep had Ben Edlund all over it, and I think he sometimes forgets the passion that IS our Winchesters.

Anywho, so loved this. It was perfect.

Thanks so much, I'm glad you thought it filled a hole. I was disappointed that this ep didn't work for me in the way Mystery Spot did and I think it's because as you said, they didn't keep in line with the characters. Thanks so much for taking time to comment.
