I watched the movie "Woodstock" today. I taped it on Vh1 Classic about a week or so ago. Wow. I so wish I could've just seen the whole performances! The Who, for one, were AMAZING! They're one of the greatest bands ever, lemmie just say that. And Ten Years After? wow. I'm kinda shocked I'd never heard of them!  They were amazing too. And of course ( Read more... )

I don't think capitalism is the only way to go.
Communism and Socialism could both work, if applied correctly. The problem is, no government has every put them into practice as they are meant to be. The communism of Russia and China, etc was not pure communism. It was not established in the correct fashion.

There are other ways to go about an economy/government than taking everything from the citizens and giving so little in return.

/Jaded American rant.

Lol, I know what you mean. Socialism applied directly to capitalism's more reasonable. I mean, if people were perfectly selfless, then socialism would work spot on. Shame we aren't. I think that if humans weren't as evil, we could figure this crap out. So, I don't mind so much that economy's flawed. It's because people are flawed. I just figure capitalism to some degree works to balance greed a bit.

Watch it watch it watch it!! It's awesome. ^^

Eh, they did drag it on forever, but I was amused watching the singer (Alvin somethingorother) make that weird face he does when playing a guitar solo. It's really funny! :P

Ugh, we just need to go back in time and see the Who LIVE. I'd just about die of awesome.

Oh, well, I love their fighting attitude. It made perfect sense to me, maybe because I'm going mad, or secretly high or something, I dunno. They're explaining their view of life TO the camera. It's something you never see anymore. And I'm quite jealous.
