"Let earth receive her king"

Well well well...lookie here.

My Christmas is going well. I woke up to my dad opening my door and saying in a dorky voice "Looks like Santa came this year!" My clock was flashing 12:30. The power apparently went out last night in the torrential downpour. As tradition goes, we have our "stockings" which are really just unwrapped gifts that are on ( Read more... )

Wow! That's an interesting gift! I know for a fact that you couldn't find that here. Maybe if you went to Milwaukee you could, but West Bend. Nope. Although, our music shop has this one blue SG that I've been eying up. Maybe when I'm better at playing the guitar...

My Christmas has been nice. Basically getting Kink was the high part. I'll have more Christmas stories by Saturday night when I see my ENTIRE family (I've got 18 first cousins alone). For now, though, I've got to start helping with dinner.

Mhm! I'm pretty sure my parents ordered it online. :P And YES I can't go into a music store without touching several guitars. XD Sadly, the only answer to get better is practice practice and that. :\

Heehee, I BET. Reading Kink like a crazy person! :P That's a HUGE family! Wow. Should be fun to see them though. ^^

I doubt that most music shops have too much of a call for dulcimers. xD Exactly... I've gotta find time to play guitar again. My calluses are slowly going away. :P

Well, not as huge as the Davies family. Their mom had 20 siblings! Eek! xD But, yeah, it's always fun to see them. This year will be even more interesting. My cousin, Mitchell, who's only a few days younger than me is bringing his girlfriend, Stephanie, who I've known since I was a Freshman, so it'll be nice to see her again. And, my 29-year-old cousin, Steve, is bringing his girlfriend who sounds to be a serious one. From what I heard, she's only 20, so that makes me feel old since that's only a year older than me. xD

Ohhhh POSH! Music stores should have a huge demand for dulcimers. *nods*

Dude, I KNOW! How on earth does a woman pop out 20 little buggers?! That's just inSANE. My aunt was just saying to my mom that she was amazed some had TWO pregnancies! :P

Aw, I love family. I'm just so sad most of mine's halfway on the other side of the country. :\

You lucky person. Our class got to play dulcimers in fourth grade music class way back when. We had the opportunity to buy them after the program was over, but I was not allowed. Since I was only nine and all it was not my decision. Even though I wanted it.

I'll probably post about my Christmas a little bit later.
