Notes: A Firefly fanvid made for whedonland's fanvid challenge. The original idea was that Jayne asks Kaylee out on a date, but isn't really as eloquent about it as he'd like to be.

So you were the most ambitious vidder of the bunch?? I had really hoped there'd be a lot of couple manips, but you were the only one who stepped up to the plate on that one - which wins you points in my book :) I have to admit that I do have a soft spot for Kaylee/Jayne (rather than Jayne/River or Kaylee/Simon) so I adored your concept. There were parts that I thought worked perfectly with your idea and parts that were a little ambiguous...but I still think it was a solid video on the whole!

I know all too well how hard manip vids can be - things often don't come together quite as well as you imagined them to....but you tried to do something different and there's something to be said for that - even if what you've created isn't all that you'd hoped for.
