The Month in Reviews, January 2010

Feb 01, 2010 22:06

So, I got tired of doing these on a weekly basis. And then I got tired of doing them on a biweekly basis. But then I thought, "Maybe there are friends of mine on LJ who'd never ordinarily visit the blog," so here I am again with a massive catch-up post.

December remnants:
(12-20) Itazura Na Kiss 1 - Kaoru Tada
(12-21) Happy Cafe 1 - Kou Matsuzuki ( Read more... )

manga, books, manhwa, book reviews

holy crap lady. I mean I knew you reviewed very consistently but this makes me ashamed of my meager output lately.

Now off to check your "not simple" review (which I put on hold until I wrote my own) and god knows what else I've missed...

Heh. This is what happens when you review everything you read. It *does* get a bit tiring, but I can't imagine *not* doing it. :)

Dear lord, but that's a lot of reviews! It's making me tired just looking at that list! Though I do like the fact that you've posted the whole thing in one convenient location, too :-). I've just dipped in and out of a bunch of them. Some random thoughts:

Yeah, I think I will probably continue to do them a month at a time. It's easiest for me that way, and fairly convenient, it seems like.

- I try to give artist's some slack in media tie-in GNs. Like, if it looks like the actor most of the time, I usually am okay with it, but when someone's just really wrong, it pulls me out of the story.

- I don't know how I missed them growing up!

- Yes, I meant that as well about Naoki's attraction to her. I hope it didn't come across another way...
