yea it was really good, it's called anansi boys by neil gaiman. he wrote the novel stardust that was turned into a movie recently...he's science fiction with a lil british writing style/humour. it's about anansi the spider god and his human form and the basically follows his son and what he goes through once he finds out his dad was a god

is that an african culture type book? there was a short story about the anansi boys in one of my english books in elementary school!

yeayea it's based on that story/myth or whatever you want to call it haha. it's not really abotu african culture...just based on the story heh
