Oh, this was really lovely and touching in all the maybe-should-be-could-be-but-can't-be possibilities that pop up in all its various forms within both Noah's time in Archades and Noah's time with Ffamran. You make Noah's isolation so pitiable and so translatable that it honestly does make me ache a bit to think of what he could have had, if only he was honest enough to admit to it and willing to risk hurt in achieving it.

But Gabranth wouldn't be Gabranth if he were willing to do all that, would he?
