Yeah. You know... they'd read the Score. Like, "You'll come to great fortune by joining your country's forces" or something like that. And then people would do what it says, because, hey, who doesn't want good things to happen, right?

Yeah, I think that's what she'd said it was. I didn't really get what it was all about, really, it just really seemed a lot like the way the Score readings went back home.

Scorers...? Do you mean the fortune teller? Asch told me about something called the Score - said it was like a fortune for a place called Auldrant. She didn't seem to like it all that much.

Yeah. They said the Score was the planet's memory, and that everything had to go according to it. And every year, a Scorer would come read yours on your birthday, or you could go consult one when you were unsure of just what to do. But, the thing is, it's kind of... bullshit, you know? Yeah, it's one way things could turn out, but do something a little different, and it'll all go another way instead.

Mmn! Yeah, exactly. Life's full of different paths depending on which one you'd like to follow. That's what I like about it~

Yeah, it was. I mean, I guess I can kind of understand it, though. If you hear that something great is going to happen if you do things in one certain way, then... well, most people would probably go for it, without even thinking.

Yeah. I wish I'd gotten to see more going on like that, but... well, I guess most of the past year, that's pretty much how we did things, anyway.

I found it interesting as well. To think, Auldrant wasn't the only place with Scorers...granted, that's not the title here. Template doesn't seem to have any obvious religion.
