Out of all options, Frings has to decided to sign for MLS side Toronto FC. Not Leeds United. Nor Glasgow Rangers. There was some live-stream of the presser, I watched it with Taversham and it made me all kinds of sad ( Read more... )

When I read the news last night before I went to bed...I screamed and then I cried a lot. Just...your choices, mein Kapitän. Your choices. This just makes me so sad. 1.) Because I hate Toronto and Toronto sports and 2.) Because I hate the MLS. It's where careers go to die and Torsten has just joined the group of Thierry Henry and David Beckham.

I'm going to go and cry myself back to sleep.

I hear you. Very mucho.

But after one rough nite I decided to look on the bright side of it (yes, there is such ting) and keep thinking of Frings' awesome Harley rides with his gang (I am sure Werder boys will come and visit him in his log cabin full of bear skin and antlers and that sort of thing -- huge fireplace etc...choppin' wood in his bestest lumberjack outfit looking rough etc. That sort of folklore. Just take it form there ;)
