Christie's hoodie: light grey Shirt: ....uh... Hmm. I have no idea XD Some really light colour, maybe even white. Jeans--dark blue!
And, not that I'm assuming there is fanart in the making or anything >.> But just FYI--colour doesn't always look well when printed in b&w <.< Just an obscure bit of info. For no reason. XD
Hi hi! Of course you can add me, I'd be very flattered! I am very glad you like my work, but hope your boyfriend isn't _too_ much like Derek... You'll see what I mean when you read the book >.>
Hiya, Leisl sent me. I used to work in the same company (Collideascope)as her, only different shifts. She works in Studio A and I worked in Studio C during day shift on KATBOT, but was laid off cuz the production went under and was moved to India =>.<= So I wanted to pursue a career in the comic industry more than the animation industry. I read Leisl's post where she mentioned you breifly and I flipped and said "YOU KNOW SOMEONE in the comic Industry???!!! I'd like to talk to the person and see if they will be able to give me tips on what to look for in the comic industry." And Leisl replied and gave me your LJ link and told me to tell you that she sent me :P

I simply cannot turn away someone sent to me by such an upstanding young woman as Ms Adams. I am not sure what sort of 'tip' I could offer, but I'll be delighted to answer whatever questions you have :D Please, ask away!
P.S. That sucks about the production going under :( Comics are a lot of fun, but _very_ hard to get into and even harder to get established in and start getting a regular paycheck... It's always best to have alternate means of income while you're trying for this, or you'll hit some really hard times.
You are with Tokyo pop?? INteresting... Anyway, I can't reply to the messages people send me from LJ through Hotmail anymore for some reason, so I added you to my friend's list so I can contact you easier

Hey hey! Ooops, almost missed this! How long did it take me to get to this point--if counting from art college graduation, about 3 years. If counting from high school (since I did some related industry stuff during college, too)--6 years. Living with parents=awesome :D I am, too, it really helps to get on your feet--you have the security to take chances you wouldn't otherwise. Both sites are being weird so I can't see your art, but I can right away tell you that, storywise, TOKYOPOP is looking for more real-life stuff. They get a loooooot of fantasy submissions.
