Wow...this thing is really a dinosaur, seemingly replaced by the Face' and the 'Space? There are so many differences between posting a journal here and a 'blog' or 'note' there. I mean here I feel like I write for myself, while knowing I have a small audience in the back of my mind (except for the UCF promotional stuff, that's blatent marketing/

Glad to hear things are going well with you. Ya know, if I was still in Orlando, and if you'd invited me, I would've gone with ya downtown- haven't been there in forever. Seriously, the last time I was clubbing (forget clubbing- just out drinking at a bar!) was my bachelorette party! Geez, seems like forever- 6 years in December. I am looking forward to homecoming, though, mostly because I didn't get to go last year and I miss everyone so much. It will truly be a homecoming for me... I hope I see you there. I know what you mean about parting ways and growing apart. That is the story of my life. It doesn't help that I'm 4 hours away from everyone. I've met some friends here, but it doesn't compare to the friendships I had in college. You know the onld song, I'm sure... make new friends, but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold. I'm sure you know where my gold friends are. That's why everytime I go to Orlando, I cry the entire 4-hour drive back to Cape Coral. John has threatened to not let me go anymore because he's tired of
